(Produced only by Oceania) - Systematically (pg. 26) : in a systematic or consistent matter. - Saboteurs (pg. 26) : A person who engages in sabotage/gets in the way of someones plans. - Denounced (pg. 27) : Publicly declare to be wrong or evil/to be turned in or reported. - Partisanship (pg. 27) : A natural tendency/inclination to act or feel a particular way. - INGSOC (pg. 28) : the political ideology (system of ideas/ideals) of the totalitarian government. - Mutability (pg. 28) : the quality of being capable of mutation. - pyramidal (pg. 29) : resembling a pyramid. - Annihilation (pg. 29) :destruction by obliterating something. - Zealot (pg. 30) : a person who is obsessively concerned and adamant in pursuit of their religious, political and other ideals.

Part 1 Chapter 5 Vocabulary: .Proletariat - The class of wage earners, especially those who earn their living by manual labor or who are dependent for support on a daily or casual employment; the working class .Prole feed - Cheap television programs meant to occupy the proles. .Ownlife - Individualism; the desire to do something for yourself, not in the name of the party. Part 1 Chapter 6 Vocabulary: .Goodsex - Sex for reproduction, as approved by the party. No pleasure or love is involved in this. .Indoctrination - Bring people in their belief system. Teaching them to accept their systems.
